Inca Trail Availability Calendar 2026 | Check Permits
To hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, all hikers and trekking staff, including guides, porters, and chefs, require official permits issued by the Peruvian government. The trail is open from March 1st to January 31st each year and officially closes every February for maintenance and the rainy season in the Andes.
Inca Trail Permits are limited each day and often sell out months in advance, especially during the peak hiking season from April to September. We highly recommend checking real-time Inca Trail permit availability and securing your trek before booking flights or hotels for Peru.
As a licensed Inca Trail tour operator based in Cusco, we operate all our treks directly and provide personalized service with guaranteed small groups
